As in the examples:
- I’ll just do the maximum possible and I am happy with that.
- He thought he was smart to save everything and do the minimum.
I can not find out the meanings of them.
P/S:
- "do the maximum" means "try the best"?
- "do the minimum" means "do as litle as possible"?
Thanks in advance.
