Building Modern Responsive Websites For IE11/Edge Browsers, Should I Bother?

I've been designing, coding a website project with Bootstrap 4, HTML5 Boilerplate & CSS resets. Only to find IE11/Edge browser layout issues & z-index issues(center alignments are off and all sorts). I'm considering a freelancer but if I can get advice without showing my code to solve most common Microsoft browser issues using prefixes or whatever is recommended would be great, a base code of some sort for all modern browsers on github for example.

Welcome to Stack Overflow, the entire point of getting help here is that you NEED to show your code otherwise its very difficult to help you. The same best practices that apply to other modern browsers apply to IE11 & Edge and the SO community tends not to recommend tutorial or foundational resources.

  • @Lloyd David, If you post the sample code for a specific issue then it can be helpful for us to understand your issue in a better way, Which can help us to provide an accurate suggestion that may help you to solve your issue. Thanks for your understanding.
