Oracle Instance in VM
As per my understanding, when we install Oracle DB in a Unix/AIX server, Oracle usually picks the SYSDATE or date value from underlying Unix/AIX server and use that.
If I create one more VM in a unix/AIX machine, and if I install Oracle instances on these VM, and if the timestamp on each VM is different from the timestamp of physical machine on which they are created, will Oracle use physical machine timestamp of VM timestamp?

A program running on a virtual computer is not supposed to know about the underlying physical computer. That's more or less the point of virtualisation.
