I'm confused by the following.
S1: He participated in one of the most challenging swimming
competitions SwimFest-X in USA, which facilitated his success in Z.
Is "SwimFest-X in USA" restricting "one of the most challenging swimming competitions" and doesn't need a comma, or is it nonrestrictive (and needs comma before it)?
S2: He participated in one of the most challenging swimming
competitions, SwimFest-X in USA, which facilitated his success in Z.
Could someone please explain if a comma is needed before SwimFest-X if one wants to make it restrictive?
