Custom Payment gateway for Drupal commerce

I am trying to add a custom payment gateway to drupal commerce using the iframe method as shown in

I am able to complete the payment and the success page is shown. But when I checked the orders there are no orders found. I think there is some way to update the order when a payment is successful. I am unable to find this in their documentation. Is there any way to do it.
