I am looking for few points on setting up Azure Environment/ Foundation, the activities/ process involved in setting them up. I know few of them just wanted to know overall picture. If you can point out any additional activities that would be very much appreciated.

From my perspective here are the few things that needs to be setup

  1. Subscriptions, Cost Center

  2. Resource Group for networking which includes - vNet, Subnet, NSGs, UDR, Firewall

  3. Resource Group for VMs - VM, Disks, NIC

  4. Azure Backup - Recovery Service Vault, Backup policies

  5. Azure Monitor - Log Analytics, OMS Workspace

  6. Blueprints - To enforce policies to subscriptions

Optional - Load Balancers, Availablity Sets

  • just wanted to know implementation part of setting up azure environment. I know there can be a lot of other things which are required. Just a general info would suffice if there are any apart from these

  • As @4c74356b41 already stated, this is very broad. And unclear what, specifically, you're asking. You listed several Azure items, but there is no requirement to use all of those things. Also, there are a considerable number of tutorials available which go over every feature, and many tutorials to get you started. There is no single "overall picture" to be had. Perhaps a great discussion to have with your peers, as you plan for a cloud deployment, but... it doesn't fit here.
