RMI Callback Object Client

I'm new to RMI, and i'm looking to implement a callback functionality in my application. I'm looking to pass an object from the server to the client, however I've been unable to get this implemented. I'm trying to pass the object as an argument in the method, and I was wondering whether this was even possible using RMI?

          0 I have developed a report which has 5 dynamic row groups from where users can choose in parameter selection. The report has 12 parameters so that user can get required information as per their parameter choice. Each parameter has multi value selection option with numerous lists of values (example: Customer parameter has 35,000 values and Item parameter has 2,500 values).
