Behind him come two people. Note: we generally use a words, and not figures, for numbers smaller than some threshold, often 11 or 100, but two is definitely written as a word in all text that is not informal notes, text messages, etc. For more than one person, we use the plural form of the verb. One person comes, two or more people come.
Come
Simple present
I come
you come
he/she/it comes
we come
you come
they come
Conjugation of the verb 'come'
