React using Context api authentication redirecting

0

I’m developing a project using react, which uses authentication. I store the authenticated in the root component state, and get it downwards with the context api. A non authenticated user is stored as null. I then check whether there is an authenticate duser in the context, and if not i redirect to the index page. The problem is that the context seems to be very slow??? So the user gets redirected even if there is an athenticated user, because the context hasnt loaded yet... How can i solve this? Thanks in beforehand!!😁
