Running a subdag in Airflow like a task?

Is there a way to run a subdag like a task? That is, when a task in the subdag fails, the subdag fails as a whole, and if the subdag is retried, it will rerun all its tasks?
This will be useful to me since I'd like to have a subdag with a task A
then a task B
, where A >> B
. If B
fails I'd like for A
to be rerun if the subdag is retried since A
acts like an initializer for B
.
