Do required child files get processed by Babel when parent files are being processed?

0

SETUP

I currently have this webpack setting:

context: path.resolve(__dirname, 'App'),
entry: {
dashboard: ['./dashboard'],
},

Within the dashboard file there is something like this:

require(['car'], function(car){
console.log(car.isBlue());
})

And within the car file there is:

isBlue: async () =>  {
const { color } = await this.getColor();
return color === 'blue';
}

REAL QUESTIONS

  1. Is Babel processing car.js file?

  2. Does babel process the required files from other files that are actually being processed?

  3. Does babel creates a processing-tree-files?

P.S This might be something trivial but I haven't found this question anywhere
