Is it redundant to say 'many various'?
Is it okay to use 'many various'? One of the definitions Merriam-Webster gives is
1 : of an indefinite number greater than one
So is it redundant to write a sentence like
We went to many various landmarks
word-choice grammaticality redundancy

There are other definitions of various. It would not be redundant with those different senses of the word. The example you give in your question is ambiguous. There is no way of knowing which sense of various is intended—so, it's not possible to state if it's redundant or not. (But I would rephrase it so it's not ambiguously redundant.)
